Who is Zelvo Herbal?
Zelvo is a Pakistani herbal hair care brand whose flagship product is Zelvo Herbal Hair Oil, a cold-infused blend of amla, bhringraj, fenugreek, black seed, rosemary and hibiscus in a cold-pressed coconut and sweet almond oil base, sold direct to customers over WhatsApp with cash on delivery.
Hair oiling is not a trend here. It is something most of us grew up with — a grandmother, a Sunday afternoon, a bottle that had been refilled more times than anyone could count. Somewhere between then and now, the practice survived but the product did not. What is on the shelf today is largely refined petroleum, coloured green, perfumed to smell like a salon, and sold on a promise about hair fall that no oil can keep.
Zelvo started as an attempt to make the version that used to exist. Whole dried herbs — amla, bhringraj, methi, kalonji, rosemary, hibiscus — steeped cold in cold-pressed coconut and sweet almond oil for six weeks. No heat, because heat is faster and worse. No fragrance, because a real infusion already smells of something. No filler, because filler is the entire business model we were reacting to.
The result is slower and more expensive to make than the alternative, and it will never be the cheapest bottle in the market. It is simply the one where what is written on the label is what is in the bottle.
What we hold to
Four rules we do not bend

Name every ingredient
No “proprietary herbal blend”, no “ayurvedic complex”. If it is in the bottle, it is on the label and on this website with its botanical name.

Never promise regrowth
A cosmetic oil cannot reverse genetic, hormonal or nutritional hair loss. Brands that imply otherwise are taking money from people who need a doctor.

No invented reviews
Our reviews page sat empty at launch rather than filling it with quotes we wrote. Every review published is a real customer's, with permission.

Cash on delivery, always
You should not have to trust a new brand with your money before you have seen the product. Pay the courier at your door.
How it is made
Six weeks, no heat

Sourcing
Whole dried botanicals, bought in small quantities so nothing sits in storage losing what we are paying for.

Cold infusion
The herbs steep in cold-pressed coconut and sweet almond oil for six weeks. Nothing is heated. Heat would cut this to a day and cost us the character of the infusion.

Pressing and filtering
The botanicals are pressed out and the oil is filtered lightly — enough to be clean, not so much that it becomes water-clear.

Small-batch bottling
Bottled in amber glass in batches small enough that we occasionally run out. We would rather that than hold months of stock.
Straight talk
What Zelvo will not do for you
It will not regrow a receding hairline. It will not reverse hereditary thinning, thyroid-related shedding or post-partum hair loss. It is a cosmetic oil, not a medicine, and no amount of marketing language changes that.
